One of the first things I wanted to do when I moved into my new place was to set up a wall art gallery. And I’m not talking any ordinary wall art gallery! I’m talking about THE wall art gallery of a lifetime. To pull off this feat, I decided to go with Desenio, a Swedish brand that offers on-trend and attractive wall decor. They’ve friggin got it! In the remainder of this blog, I’ll be sharing my experience with Desenio and also sharing my living room and bedroom wall art gallery. Enjoy!
Selection Process
Before I started picking out posters for my wall art gallery, I defined a theme for my living room and bedroom. For the living room, we had a color theme of green, white and gold. I wanted to bring out this theme even in our wall art gallery. With this in mind, I hopped on Desenio’s Instagram account to start my search. Why did I start with their Instagram page? It’s a real-life gold mine of wall art inspiration. Every day, the brand shares different wall art designs and also shares the description for each poster so that they’re easy to find on the website. All of the information on the posters in the photo are listed in the caption which made it easy for me to find them on the Desenio website. They also have all of their gallery walls on their website if you’d prefer to start there! Simply head to the navigation bar at the top of their home page and select “Gallery Walls”. At the bottom of the Gallery Wall page, you’ll find gallery wall templates. Do NOT… I repeat Do NOT ignore this section. It was really helpful for someone like me that isn’t as great at putting wall art together in way that makes sense. I attempted it in my old place and it was nothing short of a fail. Ordering Process
When I found out that Desenio was based in Sweden, I was a little concerned that the ordering process would take some time, especially when it came to shipping. But boy-oh-boy was I wrong! Desenio’s website is so easy to navigate and my posters arrived at my place in no time at all. Here’s a timeline of how it all went down:

Installation
Hanging the posters on my walls was actually easier than I expected. I picked up some 3M mounting tape from Target. You’ll need quite a bit . . . unless you don’t mind your posters crashing down on you. They’re also available on Amazon if you prefer online shopping.
