Privileged Hair Extensions First Impressions and Review

Privileged Hair Extensions

Aaaaaaaaaaaand I’m back like I never left! Y’all have no idea how much I’ve missed blogging. Of all the things that I do (photography, vlogging, social media management), writing has always been my number one passion. Over the years, it’s kind of fallen by the wayside, because blogging has become less and less popular. However, I think it’s a great way for me to share all that I have going on in my life. Unless y’all don’t care lol. If that’s the case, just let a sistah know that she’s wasting her precious lil time *cries in unicorn tears*.

Anydoodle, for my first post back, I thought I’d drop some hair extension goodness from Privileged Hair Extensions. The company reached out to me a few weeks about reviewing their hair extensions. Boy oh boy was I lucky! This hair is everything and then some! Has me walking around feeling myself like …

When I say that this hair is life-giving. I truly mean it. The luster is absolutely magical. It sits right between Low and Medium, so it blends in beautifully with my own hair. Well, it blends as best it can . . . since my natural hair is as disrespectful as it gets! Just . . .

I did record a couple of videos that go into more detail about why I think this hair is so awesome. If you missed them, swing by my YouTube channel to check them out! The specifications for those interested are: 16-17inch, Low-Medium Luster, 9.5 ounces. And for those that need further persuading, here’s some more eye candy.

Thus far, I’m really loving this hair from Privileged Hair Extensions. I’ll be back with a 6 – 8 week update!

What To Wear

A Glimpse of the Sun…

PofOGriffithI paid a visit to the Griffith Observatory the other day and was, unfortunately, GROSSLY underwhelmed! Bu that’s neither here nor there. The view from the top of the building was amazing and allowed for me (a.k.a. the bf) to snap some pretty awesome photos! With the help of Photoshop and Illustrator, we were able to spice things up a bit.
Have a looksie for yourself!

Rainy Days Call For Curly Hair

CurlyD2

It is getting really cold in Los Angeles. And I’m not talking about that 60 degrees type “cold” that east coasters call summer. It is LITERALLY 39 degrees right now! I can neither cope nor comprehend!

CurlyD1

In the interest of staying warm this winter season, I’ve been wearing my Arjuni Curly D hair extensions. Check out that ear coverage!

My only concern with this hair style is that, Corporate America might think it’s “a bit much”. To that I say : “Screw you! I’m cold!”

Photos From This Weekend’s Surprise Bridal Shower

IMG_9634

Well, if I’m not going to get married anytime soon, there’s no reason why others shouldn’t! This past weekend, I attended a “surprise” (the bride was FULLY aware) red-themed bridal shower for my little cousin. I’ve watched her grow up and now I get to cheer her on from the sidelines as she walks down the aisle. I’m so happy for her!

Things got a bit raunchy!
OMG! This had to be THE single most uncomfortable situation I’ve ever been involved in. The stripper couldn’t dance. He had tan lines on his booty and we were all through with him after about five minutes. I felt bad because NO ONE was giving him money, so I threw out a few desperation dollars and then closed my eyes for the rest of the show. The struggle was real for this stripper!

A Night Out WIth My Arjuni Curly C

Despite being on the brink of catching pneumonia (excuse my hyperbole), I went out to a lounge last night. I decided to ditch the Kim Kardashian curls for the night and instead go with my long luxurious Lashontae Heckard curls. You couldn’t tell me anything last night! Boy was I feeling myself.

Hair from : Arjuni
Specifications may be found here : Arjuni Culy C Specs

I also decided to try a red lip for the night. It definitely took some getting used to. I actually almost wiped it off before heading out the door. However, I didn’t want to look like I had been kissing a bag of koolaid, so I kept it on.

Makeup Products Used :

 MAC Spiked Eyebrow Pencil
MAC Embark Eyeshadow
Make Up For Ever Mat Velvet
MAC Blacktrack Fluid Cream Eyeliner
MAC Studio Finish Concealer NW45
MAC Studio Finish Concealer NW 40
MAC Currant Lip Pencil
Revlon Matte Lipstick – In The Red (007)
MAC Prep and Prime Transparent Finishing Powder

The night was an absolute fail for many reasons. However, I sure did look good! 😉

Arjuni Curly C Hair Extensions After A Fresh Wash

This was a photo that I took of my Curly C hair extensions two years ago.
They were magnificent then…..and they still are :
Here is a photo of the same hair, taken this morning.
I love this hair style because it’s super natural when freshly washed.
And I can also brush it out for a larger than life type of look.
Still in love after all this time!
