Last night, my roommate and I took a trip to the local grocery store. After we finished shopping, we headed outside. And we were confronted by two small children asking for money. We didn’t have any change, so we said : “Ort mean loy.” – “Don’t have money.” But these Khmer kids do NOT take no for an answer. So they followed us to our tuk tuk. We kept saying “Ort mean loy. Ort mean loy.” And as we pulled away, the 5 year old boy hit me!! And then the 7 year old girl hit my roommate. Lol, that was certainly a first!

Awwwww, but they look so cute! Especially the girl.
Wow, those kids were no joke! I bet you will keep a couple of quarters in your pocket from now on…LOL!
